The journey

Back in 2018, while working as a volunteer at Papplewcik Pumping Station Nottingham, I organized a science fiction event. One of the guests was Charlie Draper, playing 2 short sets inside the engine house.

I was captivated and mesmerized, so I began researching where I could get one of these mysterious instruments. I also contacted Charlie for help and advice.

Eventually, I settled on a Theremini, which I found in a local music store and had a play with it!

The Journey began

I met with Lydia Kavina and attended a workshop in Oxford.

This began more meetings online due to COVID-19, and I then became a member of an international community of wonderful people who are now friends.
